Job Description

Are you a seasoned pro at finding, evaluating, and placing qualified candidates for your clients in the legal market? Do you have full desk experience? We’re seeking a legal recruiter to work for our retained recruiting agency where we have innovated the legal recruitment industry with automated systems, process, and sourcing.

Legal Recruiter Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage a pipeline of top talent relationships and maintain contact with potential candidates that may be a future match for open positions
  • Call into law firms, manage systems and processes for up-leveling of results
  • Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process (candidate sourcing, screening, qualification evaluation, interviewing, negotiating offers, and follow up) to facilitate the hire of qualified candidates
  • Keep detailed and accurate communication records in the applicant tracking system
  • Collaborate with partners of law firms and other hiring managers to determine hiring needs, and implement a recruiting process for legal professionals, such as paralegals, legal assistants, clerks, and associate attorneys
  • Bolster candidate search opportunities through multiple channels like colleges, networking groups, and service organizations
  • Maximize outreach methods to job seekers, such as social media, LinkedIn, job fairs, job boards, seeking referrals, and high volume cold calling


Legal Recruiter Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills, time management, and relationship-building skills are desired
  • Knowledge of employment law, human resource policies and guidelines, and recruitment best practices are needed
  • A law degree or completion of law school is a plus- Bachelor’s degree is required
  • 3 years of talent acquisition or legal recruiting experience as a recruiter in the legal or similar market is preferred
  • Familiarity with CRM / applicant tracking systems, MS Office, Google Suite, and social media tools
