Frontend Developer - Angularjs (Open To H1B)

The individual chosen for this role will be an integral part of the firm’s Technology and Development team, building state of an art analytics system. They will be involved in all aspects of application development, testing, deployment, and support.

Key skills:

75% front-end development - AngularJS/CSS/HTML/UI Design/UX

25% middle tier/backend development - C#/Dot.Net/T-SQL

Financial services front/middle/back office experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Helping to determine and refactor current and future system architecture and design
• Developing robust, scalable, easy-to-deploy web-based user interfaces and components using Angular. C#/.NET Core, T-SQL
• Testing and deploying existing and future applications and components

Qualifications - Mandatory

• Ability to produce quality results in relatively short periods of time
• Knowledge about Structured Products and CLOs or desire to learn about it
• Advanced TypeScript, CSS, and HTML (along with experience in current JS frameworks)
• Design sensibility (ability to make logical usability and aesthetic design choices)
• Working knowledge of C#, TypeScript, or Angular
• BA/BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• An understanding of financial products such as Equities, Fixed Income, and Derivatives
• 2+ years of applicable industry experience

Qualifications - Preferred

• Ability to anticipate issues, and resolve them effectively
• Working knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Must have a continuous improvement mindset and be able to think strategically
