Job Description
The Dog Stop® Eastside is looking for a Front Desk Coordinator/Dog Care Manager to join our team. Knowledge of the dog-care industry is required for this position.


This is a full-time position and open availability (including some weekends) is required. Pay itypically starts at $14 hour depending on skill level, with room for advancement.


At The Dog Stop® East End we prefer to promote from within. This position does have the potential to grow into an assistant manager rile for those employees who show exemplary performance.

Responsibilities Will Include But Are Not Limited To


  • Laundry duties
  • Maintaining inventory of both FOH and BOH supplies and retail items
  • Contributing to a positive team environment and, of course, cuddling and having fun with dogs!
  • Scheduling daycare, grooming, boarding, and enrichment services
  • Performing behavioral evaluations for new guests
  • Answering a phones and emails
  • Supervising small, customized groups of dogs for our guests who are a bit pickier
  • Daily cleaning and sanitization of the facility
  • Spending specialized time with our guests who do not thrive in the daycare environment
  • Dish duties
  • Supervising groups of dogs who participate in the more social daycare aspect of our facility
  • Knowing the basics of dog body language
  • Reporting damaged equipment and items in need of service.
  • A small amount of bathing dogs and doing nail trims (training provided)
  • Learning the computer database
  • Checking customers in and checking customers out
  • Managing all BOH employees on shift to ensure all daily tasks are taken care of
  • Observing and reporting changes in a dog's behavior or health
  • Refreshing drinking water
  • Feeding and medicating guests who require it
  • Maintaining a safe and stress-free environment for our guests
  • Clear communication with assistant and general manager(s)
  • Engaging in specialized activities with our guests such as cuddle time, puzzle time, and one-on-one play
  • Training new employees


The person hired for this will work shifts both in the back as well as at the front desk. A customer facing personality will be necessary!
