Job Description
Rocky Mountain Public Media, Inc. (RMPM) is the parent company of Rocky Mountain PBS, KUVO Jazz and The Drop. Essential Duties And Responsibilities


  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders on key initiatives and programs to develop strategies guiding audiences through the stages of belonging. Develop different cultivation strategies for different audience segments to make each person feel included.
  • Researches and executes digital engagement strategies across multiple platforms (including text, social media, email, apps, etc) to deepen the sense of belonging within our community.
  • Tracks progress of campaigns and creates recurring reports for stakeholders with this data as necessary.
  • Collaboratively works with RMPM's audience development team to streamline and optimize marketing strategies to grow contact acquisition effort and newsletter growth efforts.
  • Works with content teams to create a brand "voice" for each of the various RMPM newsletters. Develop additional newsletter offerings (or other similar products) based on community need and interest.
  • Evaluates current RMPM platforms to develop and implement new ideas for audience engagement. Implement new tools to support the strategies as needed.
  • Experiments with and A/B tests new ideas to determine risk/reward of new products and engagement campaigns.
  • Serve as the primary liaison to operationalize and embed audience engagement strategies, processes, and workflows across departments to connect our work to the stages of belonging.
  • Collaboratively works with RMPM's membership team to develop and experiment with incorporating the stages of belonging into our fundraising campaigns.


Minimum Qualifications


  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills with standard Microsoft Office systems/software
  • Experience in project management and leading cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Deep understanding of CRM systems, specifically prospect management and lead cultivation
  • Proven experience delivering a variety of digital assets, including rich media online ads and social media application
  • Demonstrated ability to manage successful social media campaigns with solid understanding of web metrics and digital analytics with the ability to generate, analyze and interpret data
  • Strong strategic thinker who can also be tactical to drive execution
  • Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously
  • 5+ years of experience in digital communication and engagement strategies

This position works primarily in office, studio, editing, and/or field environments. This position must be able to work a flexible schedule with occasionally long hours including some evenings and weekends. Must be able to travel throughout the state and beyond, on occasion.
