Director, Patient Engagement


We are looking for enthusiastic and talented individuals who thrive on challenge and change, and who want to make a difference through the delivery of results.


The Director, Patient Marketing will play a critical role developing and implementing strategic plans designed to increase patient awareness and engagement. This person will collaborate closely with various Strive Health teams and vendors to develop messaging, branding, creative, patient tools, and multi-channel campaigns. This position requires an in-depth knowledge of targeted print and digital channel marketing to drive patient education and brand adoption. This creative, analytical, and highly collaborative role will bring innovative thinking and ideas to help drive patient engagement with measurable results. This person should build on early patient marketing success by creating a business case based on quantitative results to expand and grow the patient marketing function.


This is a highly visible role in the organization, reporting to our VP/Head of Marketing with a dotted line to our Senior VP of Operations.


Essential Functions


  • Measurement: Develop and track relevant and measurable KPIs that support brand and patient strategies and demonstrate business impact.
  • Collaboration: Strong team player with demonstrated ability to lead, partner and collaborate with experts from a wide range of cross-functional areas.
  • Content Marketing: Creates content for patient marketing collateral, website, email, social media, and other initiatives. Maintains a directory and inventory of DTC/Patient support materials, ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinates the creation of new materials as needed.
  • Brand Planning: Play a critical role in shaping brand strategy, identifying key intervention points along the patient journey and helping to rally the organization to deliver against that plan.
  • Innovation/Strategic Planning: Work with cross functional teams to translate deep patient/consumer insights into actionable strategies and messages designed to identify, educate and activate patients. Co-develop and incorporate innovative consumer/patient strategies, programs and tactics into patient engagement plans.


Minimum Qualifications


  • 6-8+ years of marketing experience
  • Internet Connectivity - Min Speeds: 3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps (up/down): Latency
  • 3+ years creating and managing multi-channel, patient-focused campaigns
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), customer relationship management (CRM) tools, web conferencing tools, project management systems, and expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficient in making key business choices and leading implementation across a matrixed environment
  • MBA or Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or communications.
  • Ability to effectively influence, collaborate, and communicate with internal stakeholders among all levels within the organization, as well as with external business partners
  • Keen awareness of current and evolving media trends, technology, and landscape of DTC marketing channels and ability to assess ROI from each opportunity.
  • Proven experience managing marketing budgets.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to be flexible, strategic, and work under pressure
Annual Salary Range: $126,700.00-$158,400.00
