Financially solid asset ?based company seeks a candidate to grow customer and carrier base for SunBelt Xpress Logistics in service to our current and future customers.

SUMMARY

Ideal candidate will have prior experience in Logistics sales and operations with a carrier and customer following; however we are also interested in transportation sales candidates with a Truckload and/or LTL sales background who are interested in a ground up opportunity. This position will be supported by our outside sales team as well as a 275+ asset based fleet. We require a self-motivated individual with a "smile in their voice" on the phone and a customer focused, performance driven, growth oriented attitude. We are a growing company with 500+ employees and contractors working at our locations coast-to-coast. We look forward to further expansion of our supply chain solutions team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure carriers comply with SunBelt requirements for safety, dependability and invoicing
• Prepare, process and track loads for customer and carrier communications
• Quote truckloads bids and individual lanes
• Match load opportunities to SunBelt assets and outside carriers
• Grow and expand our truckload customer and carrier base.
• Perform other duties as needed to grow customers, market share and opportunities

WORK SCHEDULE

This is primarily a Monday ? Friday 1st shift position.
