REQUIREMENTS

What You Can Expect Day-to-Day

While no one day is the same, you'll own and execute the following core tasks:

·Build loads

·Set up carriers

·Update/check calls

·Schedule pickup and delivery appointments

·Update customer's systems

·Update customers with critical information, etc.

·Ensure proper documentation is sent to Carrier Resources Contact insurance companies for proper certificates of insurance

·Update active load information into the system for the shipper and carrier tracking

·Call carriers to inquire about lanes, equipment types, and quantities

·Office/administrative duties, including answering phones and distributing calls to the appropriate broker, sorting/distributing mail, and ordering office supplies

·Match invoices to files

·Deliver exceptional customer service

·Uphold the company standard following the company principles of Customer, Company, Office

REQUIREMENTS

What it Takes

The most successful Freight Broker Assistants are focused achievers, skilled problem solvers, and adept listeners.

Minimum Required:

This is an in-person part-time opportunity in Scottsdale, AZ (with the potential to turn full-time after 90 days)

·High school diploma or GED equivalent

·Authorized to work in the U.S.

·Strong customer service orientation and excellent work ethic

·Ability to quickly process information and make decisions

·Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task

·Highly organized and detail-oriented

·Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

·Computer literate with a strong desire to succeed

Preferred:

·1 yr.+ of brokerage experience
