The Fraud Liaison Analyst is responsible for providing oversight and directional assistance to those claims that are identified with red flag indicators or meet a defined criteria for additional review. This role is responsible for management and disposition of referrals from front line claims team members. In addition, this position acts as the liaison between AAC and our special investigations business partner. This role is responsible for partnership and relationship maintenance with internal and external stakeholders with a primary goal of ensuring proper disposition of claims while maintaining that regulatory and compliance expectations are met and that risk is accurately managed in the handling and adjudication of claims within AAC.


Responsibilities


  • May provide information for feedback to reps, analysts and other resources within AAC.
  • Lead the daily Special Investigation input channels to review claims with and refer to our vendor as appropriate.
  • Act as primary point of contact for management, maintenance and updating the SIU procedures and policies for AAC in collaboration with Partner Manager and leadership.
  • Collaborate with the partner management to manage the relationships and work referred to our vendor.
  • Manage partnerships with internal fraud and/or risk departments to help manage fraud and or high risk accounts.
  • Provide ongoing guidance and assist in training to provide education and increase awareness regarding red flags and suspicious claim identifiers.


Minimum Qualifications (desired Candidate Experience, Etc.)


  • Ability to lead effectively without authority
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Minimum 1 year experience with adjudicating insurance claims or
  • Minimum of 1 year Financial industry or credit card operations risk experience
  • Obtain a Claims examiner licensure or ability to get licensed in the first three months.
  • Ability to deal with strict deadlines and manage the insurance industries regulatory landscape.


Preferred Qualifications (desired Candidate Experience, Etc.)


  • 1 year of Fraud, SIU or complex coverage experience


Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
