While reporting to The Chief Operations and Initiatives Officer, the role will be supporting franchisees, developing action plans, and reviewing progress of current mentoring. The FBC will work with franchisees assisting in onboarding, training, best-practices and aid in their success. The objective of the FBC is to provide technical, operational and local marketing guidance and support to franchisees. This is to be done through support tools the company has developed, and by assisting them in recognizing the need to use and implement these tools in order for the franchisees to establish and maintain a successful level of business. The FBC is to become the first level of expertise for franchisees.
Experience: 3+ years in operations analysis/training, franchise experience a plus
Education: Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university a plus
Travel: Up to 50% monthly
Qualifications:
- Exceptional ability to gather, understand, and utilize data to inform decisions and make recommendations.
- Communicate clearly and precisely in verbal and written forms to employees, franchise owners, prospective franchisees and vendors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to compile, categorize, calculate, audit, and/or verify data.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to summarize detailed information in an organized, concise manner.
- Strong people skills, which includes building relationships with team members and franchisees, as well as conflict resolution skills.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- This position could require up to 25% of travel for franchise office visits, company functions, conferences and tradeshows.
- Minimum of intermediate proficiency computer skills and be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
- Ability to be comfortable in dealing with business mathematics, particularly in reading and understanding financial statements.
- Must be able to work independently and meet schedules and deadlines. Ability to handle multiple tasks, simultaneously.
- Project management skills, including the ability to manage several projects simultaneously while remaining flexible with changing priorities. Strong ability and comfort in presenting data, recommendations, and proposals to a wide variety of audiences and levels.
Responsibilities
- Respond to technical questions regarding the service provided and assist in problem resolution.
- Encourage the franchisees to stay focused on the financial aspects of the business to thoroughly understand their financial needs.
- This is to be done through introducing support tools the company has developed, and by assisting them in recognizing the need to use and implement these tools in order to establish and maintain a successful level of business.
- Coordinate field training with Company training resources.
- Keep franchisees motivated, focused and informed of key company changes.
- Provide guidance to the franchisee in implementing, selling and local marketing programs designed to profitably grow revenue.
- Coordinate regional workshops and assist with Conference planning.
- Assist in the facilitation of training to promote a successful launch for all franchisees.
- Assist in revising and improving training materials.
- Provide the franchisee guidance in the implementation of estimating and business operating software.
- When required, work with the accounting and compliance department to assist with required documentation and certifications from franchisee.
- Perform other duties as required such as special projects or assignments to further assist with franchisee’s training and growth.
- Maintain regular contact with franchisees through site visits, weekly telephone contact and monthly business reviews while documenting all correspondence in required business software.
