JOB OVERVIEW – Pine Hills Correctional Facility (PHCF) is the state correctional treatment facility for adolescent and young adult males committed to the Department of Corrections by the court. PHCF provides clinical, nursing, education, recreation, group living and other services to treat the emotional, social and educational needs of these males.

This position is responsible for all aspects of food ordering, food preparation and food costs; tracking accredited school breakfast, lunch and snacks for youth offenders, tracking OPI meal census and patterns, and applying for OPI reimbursement; menu planning and ordering government commodity food for school meal programs; supervising food service staff and offender workers; ensuring all meals prepared meet the USDA nutritional and special dietary medical needs of the offenders at PHCF.

QUALIFICATIONS – Associate degree or vocational training in Culinary Arts or a related field and 3-4 years of job-related work experience.
