Job Description
Food Prep Worker


Perform a variety of food service duties including cleaning/washing dishes, storing food and supplies, serving food on the tray line, cleaning dining rooms, transporting carts, counting utensils, and having cleaning duties. Under the supervision of a Food Service Worker 2, the selected incumbent would complete daily assignments, record temperatures, and assist with food preparation as needed.


The selected incumbent must be able to read and write, be organized and pay attention to detail, may be required to lift up to 50 pounds, and be able to tolerate standing for long periods of time. The job entails pushing and pulling of large equipment.


Staff work 4-10 hour shifts weekly. The following Pass Days are available:


6 AM- 4:30 PM with Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday


Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday


Wednesday, Thursday, Friday


8:30 AM- 7 PM with Wednesday, Thursday, Friday


Thursday, Friday, Saturday


Requirements


Shift:


  • Day shift
  • 10 hour shift


Weekly day range:


  • Weekends as needed
  • Monday to Friday


Ability to commute/relocate:


  • Marcy, NY 13403: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)


Ability to lift 50lbs


Food service:


  • 1 year (Preferred)


Dishwashing:


  • 1 year (Preferred)
