$15.00/hr minimum - $18.75/hr maximum (range increases based on education, experience and certifications)


Responsible for preparing meals to order, catering and batch cooking for patients, visitors and staff.


Safety

  • Maintains all required records, reports, statistics, logs, files and other documents as required.


Process Improvement


  • Actively participates on system-wide or hospital-based teams as needed.
  • Promotes a culture of process improvement by participating in unit/department based programs that supports the system’s process improvement goals.


Role Specific Responsibilities


  • Food Service Sanitation Certification
  • Technical Experience 1 year
  • Food Handler II Verbalizes specific content and rationale for various therapeutic diets.
  • Food Handler II Measures, mixes and prepares ingredients according to recipes and count/production sheets using a variety of kitchen utensils and equipment.
  • Food Handler II Follows IDPH and facility sanitation guidelines.
  • Food Handler II Maintains a high quality patient and cafeteria food service operation.
  • Covid Vaccinations
  • Food Handler II Maintains adequate stocking of kitchen with appropriate ingredients.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred


#PIQAS


Responsible for providing direct and indirect nursing care.


Safety


  • Manages processes effectively in regard to employee/patient safety.


Record Keeping


  • Maintains all required records, reports, statistics, logs, files and other documents as required, including but not limited to payroll, schedules and status changes.


Process Improvement


  • Actively participates on system-wide or hospital-based teams.
  • Promotes a culture of process improvement by establishing unit/department based programs that supports the system’s process improvement goals.


Role Specific Responsibilities


  • Meets Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care.
  • Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates an individual plan of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team.
  • Charge RN-Monitors workload and delegates responsibilities.
  • Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
  • Demonstrate ability to use nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition.
  • Contribute to a healthy workplace environment by managing conflict using professional communication skills.
  • Participate in continuing education.
  • Maintain complete and accurate medical records.
  • Provides explanations and instructions to patient/responsible person.
  • Charge RN-Assists Unit Manager with daily operations.
  • Associate, Diploma, Bachelor Degree or Master’s in Nursing
  • Charge RN-Rounds with physicians.
  • COVID Vaccination
