Job Description

Job Title: Flink Data Engineer

Work location - Jersey City, NJ 07310 (Hybrid 3 days onsite)

Hybrid Onsite Schedule: T, W, TH

· Process the data from various channels.

· Stream Data from AWS and send out Data to other vendors.

· Web applications development with stream and event processing.

· Heavy volume of events, billions of events streamed every day.

· Worked in events and streaming technologies.


:

· Engage in Event streaming design development using, Apache Flink, AWS KDA, Kafka

· Develop technical specification documents and generic/reusable frameworks public cloud-AWS.

· Design and develop stateless and stateful transformations using Apache Flink

· Design and develop the streaming pipelines with a various sink point like MSK, S3, Rest API.

· Metric collection and Dashboard integration with, Prometheus, CloudWatch, datadog.

· Design and develop reconciliation and reprocessing the data and ensure zero data loss.

· Mentor the team on Flink development practices and support the first implementation.

· Identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues and review and provide feedback to the final user.

· Ensure that risk / controls, security, and data management policies are followed.

· BS/BA degree or equivalent experience. Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines

· Advanced knowledge of architecture and design across all systems. Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages

· 12+ years of professional experience as Software Engineer, Applications Developer, Data Engineer or similar experience

Pay Range: $73 - $75 W2

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
