Position Overview And Job Responsibilities

As a Flight Test Engineer, you'll lead and participate in flight test event planning and execution. Develop detailed test plans, schedules and other required test execution documentation. Coordinate test venues, test assets and participants across the DOD test community. Prepare supporting test planning products, and coordinate analysis activities. Apply technical expertise to assess test range, weapon system or technology project readiness for testing. Assemble / lead mission team, mission training and execute test events. Prepare and report pre / post test data to government customers. Advise senior government personnel on test readiness.

Required Education And Experience

• Proof of US citizenship
• Exceptional work history. Demonstrated ability to work independently from high-level guidance
• 15+ years of experience in weapon system development and test engineering that supports responsibilities as described above
• Bachelor's Degree Required (Math, Engineering, or Related Science degree. Other degrees considered if candidate has directly relevant experience)
• Exceptional communication skills

Travel: 10%

Clearance Requirement

• Active Top Secret clearance is required
