Fixed Income Valuations Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Fixed Income Middle Office Analyst. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the PnL processes in a buy-side firm, along with expertise in fixed income and foreign exchange (FX) markets. The primary responsibilities will include assisting with end-of-day (EOD) sign-offs, supporting the marking of fixed income securities, and contributing to the overall valuation processes. The candidate should possess a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, hold a degree in a related field, and demonstrate proficiency in Murex. Previous buy-side experience and familiarity with mortgage-based securities will be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities:

• Onboard new projects related to FIC (Fixed Income and Credit) valuations.
• Demonstrate expertise in interest rates, FX, and credit derivatives, encompassing valuation, cashflows, curve construction, market data analysis, and trade booking.
• Assist with EOD sign-offs and ensure accurate marking of fixed income securities.
• Stay updated with market trends, regulations, and industry best practices relevant to fixed income and FX.
• Contribute to the improvement and optimization of valuation processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.

• Prior buy-side experience is required.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and drive process improvements.
• Familiarity with mortgage-based securities is a plus.
• Strong understanding of interest rates, FX, and credit derivatives from valuation, cashflows, curve construction, market data analysis, and trade booking perspectives.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in fixed income middle office or a related role.
• Experience working with Murex is highly preferred.
