We have partnered with a large Health Insurance company in the Newtown Square, PA area to provide them with a Financial Reporting Staff Analyst. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.

#2. Solid understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and the application thereof.
#3. Exposure to the preparation of financial statements.

Responsibilities Of The Financial Reporting Staff Analyst
Responsible for preparing the monthly, quarterly, and annual internal and external financial statements and other reports and supporting the financial reporting process during month end close. Responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Preparing audited annual financial statements and related disclosures (GAAP, OCBOA, pension and 401(k) plans).
• Participating in monitoring and reporting on new issued FASB guidance and exposure drafts
• Supporting the financial reporting process during month end and year end close
• Preparing and validating financial statements and various management reports
• Maintaining Hyperion/Oracle books and reports
• Identifying process inefficiencies, recommending efficient process alternatives, and facilitating implementation of such process improvements.

Requirements Of The Financial Reporting Staff Analyst

• Solid understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and the application thereof.
• CPA preferred or in process.
• Bachelor's Degree required - Accounting or Finance.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• 1 to 2 years experience.
• Exposure to the preparation of financial statements.
• Exposure to the preparation of annual audited financial statements and related disclosures preferred.
• Experience with Workiva or similar system preferred.
• Experience with PeopleSoft, Hyperion/Oracle or similar ERP system preferred.

Other Key Requirements

• Hybrid, required to be in the office a few days a week in Newtown Square, PA
• No sponsorship or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
