Job Description

Our Fortune 500 client in the Greater Philadelphia area is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager. This position is responsible for financial reporting and partnering with various department leaders with continually improving the IT and reporting processes. Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with key stakeholders to define finance systems strategy to design new and enhance existing IT systems.
  • Continually enhance various existing reporting through MS Power Business Intelligence.
  • Build and deliver training regarding optimal use of finance tools and technology. Directly supervise two employees responsible for ERP administration.
  • Partner with process owners to define and benchmark operational KPI and to automate the delivery of KPI dashboards.
  • Lead major cross-functional initiatives and projects for the corporation including system implementations, operational improvements and international expansion.
  • Lead the Finance department with integrating ERP planning and reporting processes and analysis.
  • Consolidate various corporate financial statements and reports including geographic levels and profit centers.
  • Participate in various special projects including strategic planning and potential acquisitions.
  • Serve as main point-of-contact with key stakeholders across the corporation.
  • Establish finance department process management framework, perform process assessments and implement scalable processes leveraging automation.


Requirements:

  • Strong project management methodology background, including schedule, scope, issue and risk management experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), project accounting, financial transformation, or finance special projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline (e.g., Finance/Accounting, Economics, Management, or Information Technology).
  • Led financial close/consolidation processes, process improvement reviews, and M&A transactions (integrations, carve-out, best practice advisory)
