Financial Controller Jobs

Position Description: Dollar Fulfillment is a rapidly growing third-party fulfillment company (3PL) for e-commerce brands with facilities in Tennessee, Idaho, and North Carolina. We are seeking to add an attentive, experienced Financial Controller to our team. The ideal candidate is a Quickbooks expert with a keen interest in learning our business, and who is looking for a long-term role.This is a hybrid role, and candidates must be located in either the Memphis, TN or Post Falls, ID areas.

Responsibilities:

• Close out open accounts receivable
• Close out monthly financial statements (balance sheet and income statement)
• Update weekly and monthly spreadsheets of key performance indicators
• Audit monthly retirement and health benefits statements
• Record costs from our key vendors (temporary staffing agencies and materials suppliers)
• Reconcile weekly and monthly postage invoices
• Update financial model (balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement)
• Reconcile Stripe payments to bank account
• Record and pay accounts payable
• Run weekly and monthly accounts receivable aging reports
• Other related duties as required or assigned
• Setup accounting back-end during new client onboarding
• Classify banking and credit card expenses
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal legal requirements

Work Environment:

• This is a hybrid position. We are looking for someone who can be present on-site at our facility in either Memphis, TN or Post Falls, ID at least once each week.
• The financial controller works in an office environment.
• This role requires the use of a computer, a phone, and multiple software products.
• This is a part-time position, averaging 15 to 20 hours per week.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Expert-level skill with Quickbooks
• Thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

Qualifications:

• Alternately, an equivalent combination of education and experience to the above requirements
• 5 or more years of accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration preferred
