Financial Assistant Jobs

The Southwestern Pennsylvania Synod, ELCA—a nonprofit 501(c) 3 organization—is seeking a candidate to perform general accounting/bookkeeping responsibilities.

This position will be part-time with a flexible (hybrid) work schedule of twenty (20) hours per week. Individuals applying for this position should have experience working in an office environment and possess skills in:

•Word and Excel software

•General clerical responsibilities

•General understanding of basic accounting

•Basic knowledge of fund accounting (restricted funds etc.)

•Good communication skills

The successful candidate will be required to be bonded and subject to a credit check and criminal background check.

The office of the Southwestern Pennsylvania Synod is located in the Perrysville area of Ross Township in the North Hills.Starting hourly wage will be up to $20.00 per hour and will be based on the experience level of the candidate.The position will be available on August 1, 2023.
