POSITION TYPE: Financial Analyst
LOCATION: Remote (WFH)
SHIFT: Schedule- Days, Weekends during the end of the month
JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent.

The Financial Analyst provides operational and financial analysis to the Ambulatory Surgery (ASD) operational unit leaders and senior leadership. The Financial Analyst generates and delivers monthly financial reports, reports key financial statistics, and assists business unit leaders in managing information effectively to optimize departmental efficiency and performance.
Responsibilities:

• Supervise Contract analysts in the coordination of the upside contract management system.
• Assist in monthly financial statement review and analysis.
• Prepare quarterly partnership financial reports.
• Support Regional CFO SVPs, VPO, and ASC Administration in all facets of the annual budget process.
• Preparation of and hoc reports using Business Objects queries and Excel Pivot tables, Vlookups, etc.

Skills & Abilities:

• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations, balance and reconcile figures, punctuate properly, and spell and transcribe correctly.
• Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures, and systems.
• Financial analysis skills- knowledge of research techniques sufficient to collect and interpret data.
• Customer Service- establishes and maintains long-term customer relationships, building trust and respect meeting or exceeding expectations.
• Communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis on Excel and Business Objects.
• Interpersonal Skills- able to work effectively with other employees and external parties.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in a financial analysis role is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• SQL and/or Business Objects query writing experience preferred.
