Financial Accountant (Hybrid Remote)

LHH is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant for an industrial client in Oklahoma City, OK. This direct hire opportunity is hybrid remote.
The Financial Accountant will perform a broad range of accounting/finance functions and requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task on many projects. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced office setting.
Responsibilities:

• Review and recommend accounting processes improvements periodically including month end process, audit controls, and maintain chart of accounts
• Prepare, review, and present financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annually)
• Assist with forecasting and planning processes as needed
• Assist with internal and external financial audit processes and ensure that financial controls and policies are followed
• Various special projects as needed
• Cross train with Corporate Controller, Senior Accountant and Cost Accountant on various functions
• Oversee the controls processes for the Company
• Complete daily cash reporting and monthly cash forecasting, planning, and budgeting
• Compare current financial statements to applicable previous period and identify/explain inconsistency and trends
• Ensure month-end is closed accurately and monthly reporting processes are complete and accurate

Qualifications:

• Ability to work both independently and as a part of a collaborative team
• Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Ability to prioritize and multitask on several different projects to meet deadlines
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Oracle and QuickBooks a plus
• Strong organizational skills

The salary range for this position is between $55,000 to $65,000 and benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, employee assistance program, flexible spending account, employee discount, and 401(k).
