About the Role:


We are looking for an experienced Finance PMO to join our growing finance team at our North America HQ in Parsippany, NJ! This positions helps coordinate the activities of the finance department according to the local and global schedule and the agenda of the CFO. It handles the agenda and the management of the Finance Leadership meetings, facilitating the communication among the different finance functions and providing strategic insights and guidance regarding various issues. It assures alignment and coordination across the six legal entities on core finance activities and various management and operation issues.


It is also in charge of managing from the finance side specific strategic corporate projects that requires cross functional coordination providing oversight and guidance:


  • Fannie May turnaround
  • Tracking of non-integration costs
  • Keebler project integration
  • Financial Dashboards across the entities of the area
  • Tracking of post-integration synergies
  • Government incentives


It replaces the CFO in meetings (Area Board, Business Reviews, Investment Committees, communication with other Affiliates and Holding) when the CFO is not available.


Main Responsibilities:


Finance Process Improvements:


  • Monitor Business processes and lead change management where necessary
  • Works with the CFO to prioritize projects and initiatives
  • Facilitate coordination across other department for the finance activities
  • Elaborate yearly calendar of activities
  • Make recommendation and implementation of the necessary improvement in the finance processes
  • Ensure alignment across Finance functions in the six legal entities


Supervise Finance Agenda:


  • Partner in preparing the Finance Department short term and long term strategic roadmap
  • Ensure communication and coordination across teams
  • As a senior member of the Finance Leadership teamm, manage the agenda of the function meetings
  • Coordinate the activities of the finance department according to the local and global schedule and the agenda of the CFO


Management of specific Corporate Projects:


Directly responsible to manage from the finance side specific corporate projects that require interdepartmental and cross functional coordination:


  • Financial Dashboards across the entities of the Area
  • Fannie May turnaround
  • Tracking of non-integration costs
  • Tracking of post-integration synergies
  • Government incentives; Provide specific recommendations
  • Keebler project integration


Finance Budget Supervision:


  • Approve funds allocation across initiatives in the finance area
  • Develop and reviews the overall budget of the Finance function across the legal entities in alignment with the CFO and the Finance Leadership Team


Personnel Management


  • Help CFO recruit, manage, motivate, coach and develop own team
  • Responsible for spearheading change across the Finance organization creating consensus and alignment


Who we are looking for:


  • Knowledge of ERP and reporting systems
  • Knowledge of project management and process improvement
  • Knowledge of business planning
  • Knowledge of financial and management accounting
  • Knowledge of company business processes
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field
  • Ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
