Field Technician Jobs

Starting at $20/hour

• Salary is negotiable, depending on experience, skillset, and certifications

Job Responsibilities:

• Strive to obtain new certifications in the field of QA/QC and other materials testing/special inspections areas, as requested by your supervisor
• Travel to various job sites in a company-provided vehicle
• Perform sampling and testing on construction materials, such as concrete, soils, and asphalt
• Maintain certifications records for yourself
• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor
• Communicate with various field personnel and colleagues
• Document field activity and report the findings to clients and supervisors

Required Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old for entry onto job sites, must be able to lift up to 75 pounds (lbs) repeatedly
• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
• Experience working outdoors
• Ability to read and write, ability to use a computer
• American Concrete Institute (ACI) Certifications in field testing

Preferred Qualifications:

• ICC Soils Certification
• Construction and/or engineering experience
