If you are interested in making a global impact, we are looking for a full-time Field Service Technician II to join us in Los Angeles and LA County.

About the role:

The basic purpose for this position is responsibility for servicing, fixing, upgrading and performing preventative maintenance on coin & currency equipment, software and specialized office products located at client sites in Los Angeles and the surrounding area. The individual will work in coordination with sales and service at their branch.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Upkeep and cleanliness of company issued vehicle including scheduled service intervals
  • Extended Hours Coverage periods and ‘On-Call’ duty where applicable
  • Address customer service requests within the specified contract response time
  • Work with branch employees to satisfy client needs
  • Travel by vehicle on a daily basis to client sites
  • Safeguarding of any company issued assets including tablet computer and mobile phone
  • Service, upgrade and perform preventative maintenance on company equipment
  • All other duties as required
  • Safeguard and Maintain a balanced vehicle stock parts inventory

Job Requirements:

  • Impeccable Integrity

  • 3+ years of working in Technical Service position
  • Proficient in iOS, MS Office applications and Windows OS
  • Ability to set and track goals for themselves
  • Must be able to gain access to highly secured environments
  • Strong tendency to read and respond to body language and verbal cues
  • Ability to multi-task and work on more than one project at a time
  • Occupational licenses may be necessary to obtain depending on territory/accounts
  • Excellent ‘customer first’ communications skills
  • Tenacious and has the creativity and determination to continue with even the most difficult assignments
  • Exceptionally well organized and able to prioritize their work
  • Ability to initiate and follow through on assignments without any coaching and work as a proactive team player
  • Able to commit to and meet project deadlines

  • Strong electromechanical aptitude

Qualifications and Required Skills:

  • Phone or desk work about 10% of the time doing computer work, bench repair work, parts stocking, tracking service calls and setting up appointments
  • The job requires kneeling, bending, twisting, lifting and squatting to service equipment on the ground up to 60% of the time
  • Available for periodic travel to Corporate Office for training classes
  • Ability to stand for long periods up to 75% of the time while servicing some equipment
  • Required to travel, drive and be on the road servicing equipment at clients 90% of the time with about 10% overnight travel when needed.
  • Some long drive times are encountered depending on geographical territory covered
  • Hand and wrist dexterity needed to turn screwdrivers and place parts and equipment
  • Able to lift, push or carry a minimum of 50 or more pounds such as large money counting machines and parts in and out of client sites
