The FRAC Field Service Supervisor is responsible for providing supervision and coordination of activities of field engineer(s) and field operators engaged in the installation, repair, and servicing of equipment and machinery. This position oversees the day-to-day operations in the field and will act as liaison between the office and the field.

Detailed Description:

  • Maintain regular contact and communication with all vendors to ensure services and 3 rd party equipment is available for the job
  • Assist in coordinating and scheduling field service crew and equipment for completion of job assignments, establish or adjust work procedures to meet schedules, and resolve work problems
  • Provide coordination in locating the job site, marking the locations of work tanks, and verify adequate room for equipment needed to do the proposed job design
  • Promptly address and resolve concerns and disputes among team members, with the goal of building a stronger, more cohesive work group
  • Make employment decisions in a manner consistent with all Company policies, including the Company’s Equal Employment Opportunity and Anti-Harassment Policy
  • Maintain and monitor proper equipment and inventory to ensure they are available when needed
  • Address customer concerns or problems and recommend measures in resolving them to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Assist in the development and implementation of appropriate procedures and methods for enforcing or interpreting established guidelines and practices, provide management with current job statuses, and to improve performance, quality and efficiency of operations
  • Demonstrate financial responsibility in conjunction with the Company’s travel and entertainment policy
  • Oversee the well servicing requirements to ensure work is performed in a safe environment and that all safety requirements follow Company policies and procedures
  • Represent the Company and our values with integrity while maintaining the highest ethical and legal standards with all customer interactions

  • Supervise the day-to-day work activities of the field service crew performing routine services and ensure all customer requests and requirements are being met according to job specifications
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • This position requires bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, and crawling, walking on uneven surfaces, and climbing equipment ladders or stairs throughout the work shift
  • Demonstrate clear communication skills including ability to read, write and speak English, and to promptly follow verbal and written directions in English along with the ability to establish and maintain effective rapport with all employees at different levels both in the office and in the field
  • Ability to travel as needed to other offices and drilling rig work sites, occasionally requiring extended travel to remote locations and/or overnight stay(s) outside normal office area
  • Strong planning and scheduling skills for field logistics
  • Demonstrate the ability to work well with others, and work independently when required
  • Must be able to lift and move items weighing up to 80 pounds
  • Perform simple mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, division and multiplication) using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals, to make job related calculations; basic computer skills are necessary
  • Exhibit strong problem solving skills, with the ability to handle difficult situations
  • Build engaging relationships at all levels in the organization as well as with customers and effectively influence decisions
  • Ability to lead by example and be a good mentor to junior employees
  • Must be able to work closely with others and under time-sensitive deadlines including potential emergency response situations
  • Willing and able to operate and maintain assigned equipment in a safe manner while working in all weather conditions during a possible 12+ hour work shift that can include days or nights, as well as weekends and holidays

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years stimulation experience as a supervisor
  • 8+ years’ experience in the electronic/mechanical field or similar function
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must have and maintain valid state-issued driver’s license, be eligible to drive a Company vehicle and meet the requirements of the Company’s vehicle program, policy and/or guidelines

Working Conditions:

This position requires the employee to work outdoors for long periods of time in all types of weather conditions typical of the area where the job is located, including dust, humidity, sleet, snow, rain, mud, cold, heat, wind, and other inclement weather. Working conditions for this position may involve exposure to varying outdoor conditions, including environmental chemicals, gases, noise, dampness, fumes, radiation and heights. Employee must be able to work closely with others in the confined area of the job, in a fast-paced team environment, and work independently when required or directed, taking initiative when ne
