Job Description

One of Atlantix Partners affiliated partners is a successful boutique family office and investment firm. They are is seeking a Controller who is capable of handling our accounting bookkeeping and administrative needs.


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
  • Collaborate with other company employees to streamline accounting processes and support overall firm goals.
  • Generate monthly financial reports for asset allocation purposes and prepare budget forecasts.
  • Principal responsibility for maintaining the firm's financial records, handle payroll, manage and monitor cash flows, and perform bank reconciliations.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, check writing, and invoice processing.
  • Liaison with external tax attorneys and generate in-house partnership reports such as Schedule K-1.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and tax laws.
  • Evaluate and implement improvements in internal accounting processes and controls.


Professional Requirements:

  • Articulate – able to handle high-level calls.
  • Strong finance-based analytical skills.
  • CPA or MBA preferred but not required.
  • Pleasant personality and interpersonal fit are crucial.
  • Confidential – Discretion on office/family business is assumed.
  • 7 - 10 years of finance experience.
