Job Description

A family located in San Francisco (NoPa) is looking for a Family Assistant to support all aspects of their home. Seventy-five percent of this position is personal assistant and the other twenty-five percent is assisting with the children. The family also has a residence in Tahoe with separate quarters for the family assistant.

Business

  • Coordinate calendar
  • Set up bill pay
  • Create / provide monthly simple budget

Home

  • Manage the principals' personal calendar
  • Handle house management logistics in two residences
  • Research projects
  • Project management of family projects
  • Making reservations (restaurants, camping sites, etc)
  • Supporting & arranging personal travel
  • Support home renovation projects
  • Purchasing and returns/exchanges
  • Helping keep pantry stocked / manage groceries
  • Unpacking and logging incoming packages
  • Occasionally driving to Tahoe to manage projects

Children

  • Cleaning is tidying up after kids, laundry, dishes, etc.
  • Help with meals for the children
  • Taking care of children when not in school or sick
