As a Facilities Engineer your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain Plan of Record documentation and specifications governing system design, troubleshooting, and operations.
  • Daily planning and coordination of work with engineering and technician teams.
  • Use engineering skills and disciplined analytics and problem solving to deliver best-in-class system reliability including safe, uninterrupted factory operation.
  • Coordinate with key suppliers to ensure the latest and most cost-effective solutions are implemented and that technical accuracy is maintained in master specifications and standards.
  • On-call responsibilities; act as first point of contact for all engineering related issues.
  • Drive improvement projects to meet design criteria, scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Collaborate across multiple functions to coordinate work in the field and ensure compliance to existing facilities and environmental standards, specifications, codes and processes.
  • Own safety within your area of influence and being a safety role model.

Qualifications


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must possess at least one of the qualifications below plus the years of experience determined for each degree in the areas specified below:

  • Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related STEM discipline with 2+ years of experience in Facilities, Chemical, and Gases or High Volume Manufacturing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related STEM discipline with 3+ years of experience in Facilities, Chemical, and Gases or High Volume Manufacturing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bulk Chemical Delivery or Bulk/Specialty Gases system ownership.
  • Working in a production environment and/or with other facilities process systems.
  • 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
    • Semiconductor manufacturing, including fab and assembly/test, with understanding of high-volume manufacturing and technology development concepts and challenges.
    • Facilities operations or fab tool ownership.
    • Statistical Process Control.
    • Working in a production environment and/or with other facilities process systems.
    • Project planning, coordination, and integration.
    • Bulk Chemical Delivery or Bulk/Specialty Gases system ownership.
    • Writing procedures, system specifications, and other forms of technical writing to support sustaining of new equipment.
  • Statistical Process Control.
  • Facilities operations or fab tool ownership.
  • Project planning, coordination, and integration.
  • Writing procedures, system specifications, and other forms of technical writing to support sustaining of new equipment.
  • Semiconductor manufacturing, including fab and assembly/test, with understanding of high-volume manufacturing and technology development concepts and challenges.
  • Any experience with ASU (Air Separation Unit).
