Job Description

Job Opening Summary

Provides exercise training and wellness activities to the members of the Shands Rehab Center's wellness programs. Educates members, health professionals and students about wellness.

Job Opening Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in exercise science or related area.
  • Knowledge of AV and computer technology for presentations is a benefit.
  • Experience in health care or wellness environment desired.
  • NATA, APTA, NSCA, ACSM, State of Florida and/or ACE certification desirable within six months of hire.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

  • State of Florida ATC, State of Florida PT, NATA, APTA, NSCA, ACE and/or ACSM.



Shift hours: 5 a.m. - 9 p.m., TBD, Monday-Saturday
