Job Description

The Role

As a key member of BroadView Talent Partners’ Executive Search Practice, the Principal or Vice President/Senior Associate will play an integral part of further building the research function and working on a variety of exclusive retained searches for our clients.


We are looking for a talented professional, skilled in talent acquisition and able to balance multiple searches at one time. The ideal Principal or Vice President/Senior Associate operates independently yet functions well in teams; balances drive and initiative with good judgment; communicates effectively with candidates and clients; and delivers results with ethics and integrity.


Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities ("MUST HAVES"):

  • Ability to build and maintain successful client and candidate professional relationships
  • Extensive interest and in and curiosity about a broad spectrum of subjects
  • Hands-on mentality; high sense of urgency and knows how to work under pressure
  • Self-motivation and excellent time management skills
  • Articulate, cogent verbal and strong written communication skills
  • Experience in active candidate identification, sourcing, business development and/or comparable research experience
  • Strong DEI lens and centrism; focused and disciplined client service and client management capabilities
  • 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in the field of executive recruiting, talent acquisition and/or related consultancy; non-profit, affordable housing, community development, human service, foundation, endowment and/or middle market corporate sector search experience preferred
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and behavioral assessment/interviewing skills


Key Accountabilities

Under the title, Principal or Vice President/Senior Associate the Executive Recruiter will:

  • Generate a go-to-market strategy, including industry, company and candidate ideas, in co-operation with the firm’s CEO & Managing Partner
  • Expect to work 35- 40 hours per/week
  • Balance deadlines and deliverables for multiple searches at one time;
  • Conduct thorough research to navigate key companies and build accurate, encompassing lists of candidates accurately reflecting client profile;
  • Prepare, write and present progress and candidate reports to client;
  • Effectively present key research findings to other team members
  • Partner with CEO & Managing Partner to facilitate 1st and 2nd Round Candidate Interviews;
  • Leverage firm’s 10-Step Engagement Strategy to deliver top notch service to both clients and candidates
  • Conduct Zoom interviews with candidates, prepare Client Status Reports and participate on Status Calls with Clients
  • Evaluate and assess candidates against client requirements and competencies;
  • Network, target and Identify new client business opportunities
  • Maintain data quality and accuracy on the company’s Ezekia internal database.
