Job Description

Use your advanced skills in data analysis, financial analysis, and project leadership to improve the lives of patients! Our small Clinical Best Practice Integration team provides coaching and consultation to clinicians working to improve clinical outcomes through the systematic spread of clinical best practice standards across the Intermountain system. We are highly skilled project professionals, who help teams to apply quality improvement methodology effectively. We’re looking for a new member of the team to be the go-to person for issues involving data analysis, effective presentation of data, measurement of improvement, etc.

Key Duties

The incumbent of this role will:

  • Provide project management support related to implementation of clinical evidence-based best practices.
  • Facilitate meetings.
  • Collaborate with other team members, clinical leaders, informatics specialists, data analysts, finance specialists.
  • Coach teams and individual leaders.
  • Prepare reports and presentations. Assist teams to effectively use, organize, analyze, and present data
  • Assist in the creation of playbooks, tools, and templates to be used by project teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and track to project budgets and associated value realization.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with multiple executive-level leaders for any given project.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with leaders and employees at a region/market level or function level.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively managing 5 or more projects simultaneously, including on-time delivery and benefit realization using sound decision making.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills working in a complex, highly matrixed organization.
  • Ability to lead a team of project managers to extend the Executive Project Manager’s experience and skill for greater efficiency and impact for multiple large, complex, or risky projects.
  • Solid influencing skills. • Sound business and technical acumen.
  • Focused and versatile team member who is comfortable under pressure.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision both written and verbally.
  • Expert at stakeholder management and engagement with both strategic and operational elements of the enterprise.
  • Certified Project Management designation
  • Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders; mobilize and motivate teams; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; deliver tough messages with grace; execute effectively with limited information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience preparing financial analysis such as ROI projections, financial impact statements, and budgets.
  • Ability to apply and teach basic concepts in statistics.
  • Advanced skills in data analysis using Excel, SQL, and statistical software.
  • Experience designing charts and graphs to effectively convey a story.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
