Overview

Gentiva Hospice is looking for an Executive Director, RN to join our team in Nashville, TN. (Murfreesboro Pike Office)

Reports directly to our AVP of Operations. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the assigned hospice location.

• Direct, supervise and evaluate hospice personnel and volunteers and coordinate services of all team members
• Plan, organize, direct and evaluate services of hospice at assigned location
• Direct and coordinate admission of patients to hospice services

About You

• Communicate effectively with people of all socioeconomic backgrounds
• CPR Certification
• Current license to practice nursing in the state of requested employment, if applicable
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing preferred
• Three to five years healthcare sales/ management experience preferred.
• Three years' experience in direct patient care in a clinical setting preferred.
• Meets all state-specific requirements for the Administrator role (if functioning as the Alternate or Interim Administrator).
• Two or more years' experience in hospice/home care required (if also functioning as the Clinical Nursing Supervisor for the office location).
• Minimum one year management/supervisory experience required.
• Experience:
• Registered Nurse with minimum of Associate's Degree in Nursing required
• Education:
• Current automobile insurance and valid driver's license
• Master's degree in business, nursing or related field preferred
• Licenses, Certifications and/or Registration:
