HCT seeks an experienced nursing leader to be the interim Executive Director, Perioperative Services at a 150+ bed hospital in Kentucky. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Developing and mentoring current leader,
• Collaborating and coordinating with other members of the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
• Strategic adevelopment and implementation of clinical and business activities within the main OR and ASC,
• Directing and evaluating patient care activities to improve throughput; and
• Providing direction and oversight for business operations and fiscal management of the department,
• Assessing supply chain/materials management and recommending improvements,

Requirements:

• Experience: 10+ years of leadership in Director roles with responsibility for all Periop/Surgical Services to include OR, Ambulatory Surgery, and SPD; business-oriented leader with experience in all areas of the Periop service line, including financials, service line analysis, contract review/negotiation, and clinical needs
• Computer Skills: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft Office suite experience preferred
• License: State of Kentucky or Compact RN license
• Certifications: BLS & ACLS required; CNOR preferred
• Education: Registered Nurse with BSN required; Master’s degree preferred

All expenses are covered while on assignment including housing, airfare, transportation, meal allowance and trips home during the assignment.
Pay Range: $180,000 - $190,000 annually, depending on experience, education, and location.
