Your New Role…

This position serves an instrumental role in managing projects for their creative executive and liaising with upper-management, filmmakers and co-workers. Primary responsibilities revolve around the creation of worldwide print and audiovisual materials used in promoting feature films for WBD. This role requires the flexibility and focus to handle development of creative materials for multiple movies simultaneously at varying stages of the creative process.

Your Role Accountabilities…

Responsibilities:

  • Creation of Print advertising materials (one-sheets, outdoor, newspaper, banners, standees)
  • Reviews creative materials with creative executive and supervises copy and art revisions and/or next steps to outside agencies; traffics creative materials (unit/special shoot photography, dailies, etc) to and from outside agencies
  • Sets up talent photo shoots; serves as liaison between the studio and talent representation and manages all aspects with outside advertising agencies from photo shoot concept approval through execution of shoot
  • Monitors creative changes and prepares materials for presentation
  • Works in tandem with print production to develop and implement schedules to meet material deadlines
  • Presents ads to upper level executives and submits ads for talent approval
  • Oversees the finishing of key art for use in theatrical one-sheets, digital, outdoor, newspaper. Aspects include approving color correction and retouching; proofing and approval of print mechanicals and digital layouts

  • Development of Audio Visual materials (including Trailers, TV, Digital, Radio and Promotional Reels)
  • Manages high-security film elements and delivery of source materials to outside agencies
  • Works with music clearances to obtain clearances and licenses for all media; coordinates the creation of original score cues for use in all media
  • Works independently to approve audio mixes and picture color for TV spots, online content, award/presentation reels and other ancillary materials.
  • Coordinates and directs all ADR requests for any finishing needs.
  • Works in conjunction with the Publicity department to cull quotes and reviews; obtains approvals and quote clearances for newspaper, TV, and Radio spots
  • Reviews creative with creative executive and communicating revisions and/or next steps to outside agencies; prepares reels and quality control checking tapes for presentation

  • Manages and tracks the approval and clearance process on all advertising/marketing materials. Works closely with legal, clearance, music and finishing departments to keep them up to speed on materials going to finish.
  • Negotiates creative fees and monitors creative budgets when applicable
  • Communicates project updates (direction, status updates) to various departments including digital, content, research, exhibitor relations, International, Print and Audio-Visual Post-Production.
  • Oversees creative process for custom animation requests; develops animatics, tracks budget, timelines and communication with production.
  • Consults with the legal department on paid ads/talent contracts as it pertains to talent likeness and parity issues; any and all advertising restrictions; implements creative changes as necessary
  • Prepares materials for qualitative and quantitative testing; analyzes research results to enhance creative direction

Qualifications and Experience…

  • Must have the ability to organize and schedule work effectively.
  • Possess a clear understanding of computer networks, both new and existing server technologies.
  • Must have the ability to work well under time constraints.
  • Must have excellent follow-up and follow-through skills.
  • Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent command of graphic design principles, practices, formats, typography, printing and layout.
  • 5+ years experience in creative advertising at either a studio or creative agency with project management skills and knowledge of creative advertising and technical processes.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required / bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Understanding of conversion issues present when using applications across all platforms and can troubleshoot problem files.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons on all levels, in person and on the telephone.
  • Must be proficient in all major desktop publishing applications including: Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Acrobat. Microsoft office – Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Final Cut Pro and Keynote a plus.
  • Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $145,250.00 - $269,750.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
