Executive Assistant - Institute For Public Health

4801 Northwest Loop 410 Clerical Day Shift POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES Assists in the daily operations of the assigned functions and responsibilities, including overall operations. Provides high-level and efficient administrative support to the assigned executive. Collaborates with the department and other University Health teams for the strategic planning, development and implementation of the Institute for Public Health (IPH) mission. Assists leadership in implementing department projects. Assures the prompt and efficient performance of assigned duties under the leadership of the IPH executives and directors. Exercises individual initiative and good judgment in handling minor and routine matters not requiring the personal attention of a supervisor. Coordinates different office activities and maintains professional and working relations. Handles all personal contacts with professionalism, efficiency and integrity and promotes the Health System's guest relation policy. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent college coursework highly preferred. Five years of administrative secretarial experience in an office setting is required. Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills required. Must demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain working relationships with University Health leaders and community partners
