Job Details

Trade Organization is seeking an Event Designer, a Visionary to join their events team. This person will be responsible for creating the look, feel and ambiance of the large scale event by focusing on all the event's details to create an overall style or brand for the event. You will work with the C- level executives to determine a collaborative vision. for the event and then work with a small team and vendors to make it a reality. This person should have a resume and a portofilio of design that they can share in the interview. Full time, remote, with travel and great pay, 35 hour work week!

This person should have the following

A minimum of 8 years’ experience in designing, creating and planning events with clear understanding and ability to develop and execute events from start to finish both nationally and globally. YOU WILL NOT BE A PM OF THE EVENT YOU WILL BE THE PLANNER/DESIGNER/VISIONARY

Proficient to expert level knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Strong understanding of social media (i.e., Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, etc.)

A strong focus on the community/customer and client/partner experience

Experience with sourcing prospects including cultivating event sponsor relationships

Advancement interest with desire for both professional and personal development

A “team oriented” business perspective and bring a positive attitude to the team and job each day

Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and nights

What you will do

Direct the strategic planning, management, coordination of logistics, and implementation of a range of programming and events at Wellen Park

Collaborate with leadership team and related stakeholders to develop events that drive revenue, foot traffic, retail partner and home sales, and community engagement through standalone activations, partnerships, or programming series

Oversee event budgets, plan and monitor expenditures, and analyze expenditures to maximize current and/or future cost savings and efficiencies

Develop appropriate measurement and reporting tools to track the impact of events

Identify and engage partners (local, regional, or national) to develop standalone activations or program series

Identify opportunities to leverage tenant activation, programming, and private events for increased collaboration with retail merchants and partners

Provides on-site leadership and execution at events, including holiday, evening, and weekend events

Responsible for ensuring presenters, staff and participants are in place and set up for a successful and safe execution of every event

Collaborates with the communications department on promotion of events and social media feeds during events
