Role and Experience

• Working closely with business leadership team to gather requirements and understanding the dependencies.
• Performing adhoc data import and export jobs for adhoc requirements.
• Migrating legacy MS excel, MS access based reports to Tableau based visualizations and use data warehouse live connections.
• Migrate legacy databases to data warehousing systems model.
• Develop data warehouse process models, including sourcing, loading, transformation, and extraction.
• Building Extract, Transform, Load (i.e., ETL) jobs and stored procedures to transform data from variety of sources into several data marts within a centralized data warehouse system.
• Develop standard query language (SQL) Server Integration Services packages, coding TSQL and stored procedures for data conversion, data cleansing and addressing data accuracy and quality.
• Generating reports for data collection, changes, and quality positions to management team.
• Collect and document user requirements and develop logical and physical specifications.
• Creating data dictionary, data mapping, and work process flow documents.
• Provide technical design documents for all reports created.
• Design and develop data tables, views, and procedures to store and process the data.
• Creating email notifications for data processing performance and exception handlings.
• Monitor and support incremental data importing jobs and execution errors, as well as working with administrative team to debug environment and security problems.
• Debugging the data problems for ongoing data issues.
• Provide training to internal teams and assist with expert knowledge on best practices for creating data flow and decision making visualizations.
• Developing data driven interactive dashboards and insights using Tableau Desktop/Prep/Server.
• Working with business stakeholders and development team to improve the outcome of implementations.
• Design analytical friendly database table and column structure along with user specific calculation or indicators.
• Monitoring the existing data collection process to create efficient data warehouse models.
• Writing unit and user test cases to identify data changes and data integrity.
• Develop integration rules to improve the performance of data reading and data writing of data marts.
• Balancing the data load based on variety of data and volume.
• Analyze user and software requirements to determine design feasibility within time and cost constraints.
• Observing existing analytical methods to build robust and decision making visualizations.
