Job Description

Estimator – Houston, TX


Mackenzie Stuart is working in close partnership with a major general contractor that has influence across North America.


We are currently recruiting for a Estimator, focusing on the Healthcare, Aviation and Sports markets. Based in Texas, US.


Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for leading & delivering owner/subcontractor meetings to discuss strategy and operations
  • Responsible for leading conceptual budgets & detailed cost estimates
  • Analyse construction sites to examine challenging construction fields
  • Lead contract management / target value design cost estimates
  • Perform estimating bids for prospective projects


To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:

  • 10+ years estimating experience including on field project operations experience
  • Be able to occasionally travel to multiple sites & owner meetings
  • Experienced leading contract management responsibilities including handling vendor quotes
  • Be able to effectively communicate with owners/subcontractors to maximize the best strategies
  • Confident performing estimating bids for multi-discipline projects


The expected salary for this role would be $130,000 - based on experience, with other performance related benefits available.
