Job Description

Premier New York City window shade/solar management contractor is seeking an estimating coordinator to join our team.

The position includes the following responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Estimating/Sales Department
  • Bid follow ups
  • Keeping weekly logs of bid estimates
  • Daily monitoring of emails for bid requests
  • Prioritizing bid requests
  • Maintenance of estimating and sales database
  • Effectively communicating within all departments and with customers as necessary
  • Submitting proposals

Qualifications

  • Detail oriented
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with the construction estimating process is a plus
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • New York, NY 10016: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Construction estimating: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
