Environmental Manager Jobs

ROM Group Inc. is seeking a full-time Environmental Manager for assignment on TBTA VN-81X – Suspended Span Lower-Level Deck Rehabilitation at the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge project.

The Environmental Manager shall be responsible for ensuring that all environmental requirements are met and for the management and oversight of all environmental issues relating to construction activities.

Responsibilities - Shall include, but not be limited to:

·Development and implementation of site-specific environmental procedures and plans.

·Compliance with federal and state documentation of environmental approvals.

·Continual monitoring of the Contractor’s adherence to such procedures, plans, regulations and standards.

·Implementing corrective action and/or mitigation measures as necessary to comply with the requirements as set forth in the Contract Documents.

Experience The preferred candidate shall have demonstrated relevant environmental compliance experience with permitting, and construction management on large, complex transportation or infrastructure projects. The experience shall include federal permitting and New York State permitting, knowledge of federal and state regulatory agencies, and knowledge of Federal, State and Local environmental regulations and standards.

Education - Master’s Degree Preferred
