Our team at Cascades in Pryor OK is looking to bring on an environmental engineer who will help with all things environmental! Your day could include anything from data-entry to hands on spill responses, not to mention working with local government agencies to secure and maintain the required permits and ensure proper wastewater treatment. and land spreading practices

Individual responsibilities

Accountable

  • Contribute to the optimal execution of operations by achieving occupational health and safety targets
  • Satisfy customer expectations
  • Engage and develop all your employees
  • Align the unit’s action plans and production objectives with your group’s strategy
  • Establish, implement and optimize best practices and operational efficiency tools in various areas (quality program, projects, technical processes)

Responsible

  • Optimize the resources under your responsibility
  • Ensuring that all permits and compliance tasks are completed
  • Support your department’s continuous improvement efforts
  • Communication with local governmental bodies including Natural Resources and State of Emergency Management
  • Maximize the operational efficiency of your department
  • Foster synergy of resources (internal and external)
Experiences and strengths

  • An understanding of Oklahoma Administrative codes and federal regulations pertaining to our operations and assets
  • Experience working with wastewater clarification, water softener and reverse osmosis units, low pressure boiler system and hazardous materials on a day-to-day basis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Solid understanding of Oklahoma Air and Wastewater permitting and reporting
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize urgent matters
  • Comfortable handling communications with multiple levels of leadership
