Position Overview:

We are seeking entry-level business analysts to join our team after successfully completing a comprehensive training program focused on IT fundamentals. As a business analyst, you will apply your newly acquired knowledge in areas such as cloud computing, software development life cycles, requirement gathering and documentation, project management, and quality assurance. This role offers an excellent opportunity to kick-start your career in business analysis within the IT industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Requirement Gathering and Documentation: Utilize various techniques, such as JAD sessions, interviews, and brainstorming, to gather business requirements. Document these requirements in clear and unambiguous terms, distinguishing between business, functional, and non-functional requirements. Employ tools like use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and class diagrams to capture and model the requirements.
2. Agile Methodologies: Apply your understanding of Agile frameworks, including Scrum and SAFe, to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Participate in Agile estimation, user story creation, and acceptance criteria definition. Contribute to the development and management of product and release backlogs.
3. IT Fundamentals: Apply your knowledge of cloud computing, SaaS (Software as a Service), CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment), distributed computing, APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), and network architecture to support the development and implementation of IT solutions.
4. Project Management: Apply project management principles to assist in project estimation, work breakdown structure development, and network diagram creation. Support stakeholder engagement activities and contribute to requirement traceability matrix and quality assurance efforts.
5. Software Testing: Apply your understanding of software testing fundamentals, including manual testing, defect life cycle, user acceptance testing, impact analysis, and API testing. Familiarize yourself with automation testing tools and methods to enhance testing efficiency.
6. Prioritization and Bug Management: Assist in prioritizing enhancements and bug fixes based on project requirements and business priorities. Collaborate with development teams to track and manage bugs throughout the defect life cycle.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of SQL fundamentals and experience with structured query language.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with modeling tools such as Modelio and UMlet, as well as wireframing and prototyping tools like Figma, Invision, or UXPin, is a plus.
• Successful completion of a comprehensive training program in IT fundamentals.
• Proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation techniques.
• Basic understanding of software development life cycles, including waterfall model, Rational Unified Process (RUP), and Agile frameworks.
• Passion for technology and a desire to stay updated with industry trends and advancements.
• Familiarity with project management concepts and tools such as MS Project.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
