Job Description
What You'll Do:
We’re looking for an Enterprise Architect to join our Workplace Benefits Architecture team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading the development of architecture solutions and technology strategy for Workplace Benefits products.
This is a hands-on (individual contributor) position with responsibility for setting architectural direction and seeing the direction through to high-quality solution deployments.
Here are a few examples of the kinds of things you’ll do:
  • Partner with business and technology leaders, to formulate architecture strategies to achieve business objectives, priorities, and result in effective use of our information technology assets.
  • Effectively communicate with all levels of the organization to influence, coach, and mentor on how to consume and apply key aspects of architecture solutions.
  • Deliver architecture in an agile manner.
  • Ensure technology remains cost effective, efficient, and high quality.
  • Act as an advocate for ensuring that specific architecture solutions align with the overall enterprise architecture goals.
  • Develop and maintain roadmaps that communicate architecture priorities to achieve business outcomes. Facilitate strategic architecture discussions and set short to medium-term strategic architecture direction (6-18 months)
  • Assess architecture risk, communicate implications, and formulate mitigation strategies.
  • Identify, research, recommend, and drive adoption of emerging and innovative technologies, and tools that enable the business to achieve strategic goals and respond to future market changes.

Who You Are:
  • You have a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent work experience and 5+ years of experience with a multi-business unit global organization.
  • You enjoy mentoring and guiding highly technical engineers.
  • You are familiar with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) methodology.
  • You have hands-on, practical expertise with leading enterprise platforms and/or creating scaled solutions.

Skills That Will Help You Stand Out

  • Knowledge of financial and insurance industry preferred.
  • Master's degree in technology, engineering, or related field and 5+ years of architecture experience.
  • Direct experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP).
  • Direct experience with API based integration, Event based architecture, Microservices architecture, Integration between on-premises and Cloud platform, technology obsolescence.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and growth within architecture field (i.e., training, or certifications).
Salary Range Information: Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
