WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Position Summary

The Enterprise Architect gives architecture advice on strategic, tactical and operational levels to different stakeholders at all levels of the organization. He/she contributes to the strategic plan. Keeps the enterprise-wide architecture criteria, principles, policies and standards up to date.

The Enterprise Architect works with the Business Product Owners to understand and define business needs and requirements and proposes solutions for those needs. He/she works closely with the Development Team, IT Operations and InfoSec to ensure all technology solutions are designed and implemented in accordance with the enterprise architecture

The Enterprise Architect reports to the Systems Development Director


Position Duties / Responsibilities

  • Plan, design and document the structure of a technology solution
  • Evaluate and select appropriate software or hardware and suggest integration methods
  • Understand company needs to define system specifications
  • Consults and works closely with technical team members to ensure all requirements have been accurately addressed as well as supports the technical group during the design and development activities
  • Assist with solving technical problems when they arise
  • Address technical concerns, ideas and suggestions
  • Ensure the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure
  • Works with InfoSec and IT Governance to ensure compliance with policies, standards and procedures

Education: 10-15 years of relevant experience or demonstrated required level of proficiency.

Technical Knowledge

  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking and modeling skills
  • Sound problem solving and project management skills
  • Sound experience in people management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with different level/market across the organization
  • Very good technical skills and managerial skills
  • Teamwork and team spirit focused including flexibility
  • Problem solving approach oriented and customer focused
