Job Summary

The Humanities Division of Jefferson Community and Technical College has an anticipated opening for an English as a Second Language (ESL) Instructor for primarily the Downtown campus.

Job Duties:

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree in TESOL/Linguistics/Foreign Language/English or a related field required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Extensive experience in teaching multiple ESL levels and skills, teaching college composition and understanding of the importance of, working with students from diverse backgrounds required. Teaching experience at the college level, 18 graduate hours in English, speaking at least one foreign language, international experience and online teaching experience preferred.
This position requires the ability to work in a culturally diverse environment, which consists of frequent contact with a diverse constituency of students, faculty, staff, and the public.
