Engineering Project Manager Jobs

This position is to oversee and manage all aspects of Construction Job Projects throughout the job process. The Project Manager is to work with the Sales Team when obtaining a new job and guide the customer from the transition of the Sales Manager to the Project Manager.

This position is to create a project schedule and adhere to contractual dates, coordinate with subs, and oversee the financials ensuring the job stays within the budgeted costs by buying out all material. The Project Manager will oversee the jobsite Foreman and work with Assistant Project Managers to acquire and present all closeout documents for the customer. The Project Manager will report directly to the Systems Manager as well as Director of New Systems.

• Schedule and coordinate sub-contractors and vendors in critical path to adhere to timely completion
• Walk the site weekly with the jobsite Foreman to oversee progress on the project and review with customer
• Create jobsite folder for Foreman with updated drawings, submittals, and the scope of the job
• Review job costs and vendor invoices biweekly and return to the Accounting Team to recognize revenue
• Work with the Sales Team on project turnovers and reviewing job scope and costs
• Work with the jobsite Foreman on the status of the job, change orders and staying within job costs
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the job site
• Monitor jobsite safety according to OSHA standards
• Identify potential risk early, financial or to the critical path, and come up with solution
• Manage multiple jobs simultaneously
• Attend weekly meetings as specified by the Customer or GC
• Collaborate with the Engineering Department to get updated drawings to do a proper buyout on materials and direction for the jobsite Foreman
• Create and present job schedule hitting key dates
• Issue monthly job invoices based off payment terms or project status
• Communicate with the customer at the completion of the job Maintenance Agreements and what monthly services American Refrigeration offers
• Issue monthly Toolbox Talks with Foremen to keep fresh on jobsite safety
• Work with Assistant Project Manger on all project submittals and close out documentation
• Complete OSHA 30
• Work with the Service Team on all Service Technician and scheduling needs per scope of project
• Attend weekly Manpower meeting to discuss project status/labor needs
• Communicate with the customer on the status of the job
• Complete monthly job roll-ups giving an accurate financial Forecast on how the project is going
• Adhere to IIAR rules and regulations
