General Description:
- Mechanical Engineer supports the design, integration and testing of structural and electro-mechanical components, systems, subsystems and mechanical interfaces for various projects. Design tasks may include system integration, verification and testing as required by the specific projects.
- Mechanical Engineers supports technical level personnel and project leads in the planning, oversight, and execution of complex and advanced projects related to system and technical product development.
- Provides technical guidance and mentoring to lower level technical staff.
- Supports multiple project activities and may support multiple programs within the organization.
Duties:
- Understand and autonomously execute change management to include product and regulatory documentation.
- Develops production facility or production line by designing, installation, modifying, test and training equipment or facilities.
- Prepares and reviews input to major technical reports, status reports, letters, technical memoranda, contract reports and formal briefings.
- Apply advanced technical concepts, techniques, and procedures to support multiple project teams in the selection/setup of technical equipment.
- Performs complex engineering work in design, evaluation, planning, testing and operation in support of program level system development, engineering analysis and research.
- Conduct periodic design reviews to gather design inputs from cross-functional teams.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Assessment and evaluation of mechanical environment derivation (shock, vibration, thermal, etc.) and environmental management/mitigation.
- Oversee reverse engineering of complex mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies for the purpose of developing repair/maintenance/trouble shooting procedures.
- Assessment and evaluation of requirements for complex mechanical assembly.
Requirements:
- Engineering experiences in food manufacturing
- 5+ years of engineering project experiences
- Bilingual in English and Chinese
- BS or above degree in EE/ME or equivalent
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
