Design, develop, support, deploy and/or test advanced technology solutions of small scale that are high-quality, innovative, efficient, creative, scalable, adaptable, dynamic, fully performing and comply with all standards and best practices in support of business and Client outcomes and objectives. Work independently and applies advanced engineering skills, tools, practices, and techniques to all deliverables. Understanding of core engineering concepts such as: development, testing, source control, security, performance, data, DevSecOps, system administration, agile planning, and focused on learning more about these domains. Ability to focus on task at hand, follow-through on prescribed plan with ability to be flexible and think under pressure. Highly motivated team player with a strong desire to learn, grow, and continuously improve.

Preferred skills

• Competent developer in the following areas:
• Backend Technologies such as: Application servers (tomcat, liberty, websphere), Languages Java, GoLang, Python
• Frontend Technologies such as: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, React
• Experience working with an Agile Methodology

Qualifications

• This is a position that requires a significant amount of time sitting in front of a computer screen writing and reading design specifications and code.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing modern internet applications using the latest front-end technologies.
• Document and maintain technical solution functionality
• Developing application codes and unit tests in Javascript Frameworks such as (React and/or Angular), Java Technologies and Rest Web Services.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
