Description:

Position: Mechanical Engineer II, Product Development

100% on-site in Bedford

As a mechanical engineer within Bioprocess R&D group, you will build be involved in all aspects of the product development process as part of a team to design, develop, prototype, and validate Mobius® Single Use Products & Equipment.

Who You Are:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in an Engineering or Design discipline (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or Product Design).

5+ years’ work experience in product or equipment design

Additional skills of value for the position:

• Equipment design utilizing sheet metal, structural framing, electronics packaging

• Experience in fabrication techniques using handheld cutting tools, manual lathes, and mills.

• Part design for 3D printing and/or operation of 3D printers.

• Machine assembly (mechanical, electrical, pneumatics)

• Experience in bioprocessing/biotech/pharma/medical device is a plus

• Experience with AutoCAD also a plus
