Engineer I - Water Resources

What We're Looking For

HNTB is seeking an Engineer I - Water Resources to assist in the preparation or modification of reports, designs, specifications and plans. The position requires occasional overtime and the ability to meet challenges and overcome obstacles in performing tasks and assignments on time and within budget. Field work generally includes site reconnaissance and project inspections. Computer models likely to be used include HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS and drainage design software packages.

What You'll Do:

• Supports the preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
• Completes assigned work within the schedule and number of hours provided.
• Supports engineering teams with various tasks and duties including but not limited to research, data collection, field investigations, development, and design of projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Assists engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files.
• Assists in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Minimum Qualifications:

• 0+ years relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
